No matter if you're singing high notes, or low notes, loud or soft notes, your throat, jaw and tongue should be as tension free and natural feeling as when you're speaking.
Eric Bruner teaches a vocal technique (the way you use your voice when you sing) which allows this free and clear singing throughout a singer's range, without tension or the fear of "cracking". It can be applied to every style of music all without any strain in the voice. Any age, any experience level will advance.
The power of this singing technique is not only the result - a clear, comfortable, effortless voice - but it's also the process, a process that is natural, fun and fast. It's not full of boring technical stuff that goes on for months and years.

"Now I can sing high notes with a power behind it that I never thought possible!" - Sarah Celeste, Austin, TX
"Eric has a way of making the complex concepts such as adding range and removing strain very simple to understand!"
- Rianne Rivadeneira, Performing/Recording Artist
"Being a new singer and never having had lessons before, I was apprehensive when I began looking for a voice teacher. Since I wasn't a professional singer, I was worried about finding someone who would be willing to work with me to develop better control of my voice and maximize my abilities. Eric Bruner immediately put me at ease. He explained the process in detail and told me what to expect.
His easy-going personality and extensive vocal and musical knowledge were very reassuring as we began to break the old "bad" habits and replace them with proper technique. Almost immediately, I was able to add several steps to my middle range and began to close the gaps between my middle and high ranges. I also felt more power behind the notes and began to feel more confident in my singing." - Pat Davis, Houston, TX
Eric's goal for a student's first lesson is to add about an octave or more to their range.
What does Eric teach, and how does what he teaches help me?
Before Eric began teaching over 20 years ago, he knew he wanted give performers a powerful singing technique that can quickly be applied to every musical style, no matter their age or experience level. It has been his professional life ambition to provide students with just that. The technique he learned and now teaches allows singing to be as natural and easy as speaking. The techniques have been used to win 100's of Grammys because they produce an effortless, yet powerful sound.
All too often, many singers have vocal damage or chronic vocal fatigue facilitated by poor voice teaching. Many of these students come to Eric from other teaching studios with vocal polyps, nodules and pre-nodules, pre-hemorrhage and even vocal paralysis conditions. Eric works with the country's top laryngologists and vocal surgeons to help "reverse the effects" of students' chronic vocal problems by singing/speaking with an improved vocal technique. (Visit the Vocal Health and Vocal Care area for more details about vocal disorders).
Singing should feel as easy as speech. It's that simple.
